The Guge Kingdom is a wonder of Ngari. In the mid-nine century, the Tubo imperial court came to an end. The offspring of the King Namdam established their own kingdom and Gyede Nyimagong became the King of Ngari. The Second son of his three sons occupied Zarang and established the Guge Kingdom.
In the main ruins of the Guge Kingdom in Zarang, the destryoed city walls and the natural earthern forest exist harmoniously. More than 400 houses and 800 caves sacatter on the 300 meters high moutain slope. As the capital of the Guge Kingdom, the Zarang Ruins cover an area of 720,000 square meters, the second largest building next to the Potala Palace.
This place can be visited combining with Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar via southern route via Saga - Paryang and Manasarovar. The tour itinerary can be varied according to the time frame and places you would like to cover within the itinerary. Below,we have designed an itinerary that commences from Lhasa. In Lhasa, we spend a couple of days for sightseeing proposes after that we continue our journey to Western Tibet via major highlighted places of central Tibet (Gyantse, Shigatse.Everest Base Camp etc.). This tour takes us to the Kailash Manasarover, Guge Kingdom and toward to Nepal via Zhangmu (the Tibetan border).

Day 15 Oct 18: Trek to Zuthul Puk (4890m) Crossing Dormala Pass (5630m) 7/8 hrs. O/N at Camp
Day 16 Oct 19: Trek down to Near Darchen, drive (50 km) 3/4 hrs to Guge kingdom/Tsaparang (3780m). O/N at Camp
Day 17 Oct 20: Drive back to Mansarover (105km) 4/5 hrs via Toling monastery visiting. O/N at Camp
Day 18 Oct 21: Drive to Parayang (270km) 6/7 hrs. O/N at Guest house/Camp
Day 19 Oct 22: Drive to Saga (230km) 6/7 hrs. O/N at guest house/Camp
Day 20 Oct 23: Drive to Nayalam (240km) 6/7 hrs via Paikutso Lake. O/N at Guest House/Camp
Day 21 Oct 24: Drive to Zhangmu Tibet border. After clearance the Chinese and Nepalese immigration formalities drive to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel Marshyangdi. (150km) 7/8 hrs.
Day 22 Oct 25: Free day in Kathmandu. At evening, cultural Dinner program. Overnight at Hotel Marshyangdi
Day 23 Oct 26: Final Departure.
